The Stegmeier SDD-DA is the down adapter fitting for the Frontier deck drain system, molded in white PVC and sold as a single fitting.
Where it goes
Deck drain runs along the surface of the pool deck collecting water, but at some point that water has to leave. The down adapter is the piece that makes the turn, taking the channel down into the drain line buried under the deck. It is a small part with an outsized job, because a poor transition here is where a run backs up.
