Product details

The Olympic 710 G is a 1 gallon can of Hydrolon, a white, satin finish water base acrylic coating for pool surfaces, also listed as part number 710-GL.

What it does

Hydrolon applies smoothly and dries quickly, covering about 250 to 300 sq. ft. per gallon. It requires no primer coat and can be applied over damp surfaces, and it works well over existing rubber-based coatings, though it is not suitable over epoxy.

How to choose

The coating is intended for plaster and concrete pool surfaces. A second coat can typically be applied in as little as 4 hours after the first, and at least two coats are recommended for a durable, consistent finish.

Before you order

Prepare the pool surface properly before coating, and expect the pool can typically be refilled about 48 hours after the final coat is applied.
