The A&B Brush Manufacturing 4030 is a 36 inch straight wall brush from the 936 line, built on a sturdy die cast aluminum back with five rows of thick nylon bristles.
Why go wide
A 36 inch head covers roughly twice the wall or floor per stroke as a standard brush, which turns a long job on a large pool into a short one. The trade off is leverage, so the back has to be stiff enough not to flex in the middle when you lean into it. Die cast aluminum is what makes that possible at this width.
Surfaces and bristles
The bristles are nylon, so the brush is suited to plaster, fiberglass and vinyl lined pools alike. Five rows put more bristle on the surface with every pass, which is what actually lifts the film of dirt and early algae before it sets into a stain that needs chemistry to remove.
