Quick overview
- 24 inch face A wide brush covers a large floor in far fewer passes.
- Curved back The curve follows the cove where the wall meets the floor, so the corner actually gets brushed.
- Aluminum back An aluminum body holds its shape under scrubbing pressure better than a light plastic one.
- Blue nylon bristles Nylon rather than stainless, which makes it the milder choice on vinyl and fiberglass as well as plaster.
- Model 905 Pentair part number R111342.
- Weekly brushing pays Brushing lifts the film that a cleaner and filter never quite take off, especially in corners and behind ladders.

Product details
The Pentair R111342, sold as the model 905, is a 24 inch curved pool brush with an aluminum back and blue nylon bristles.
Width and shape
Twenty four inches is a working width. On a large floor it halves the number of passes against a standard brush, and the curved back lets the bristles reach into the cove where the wall meets the floor instead of skipping over it. The aluminum back keeps the head rigid, so pressure goes into the bristles rather than flexing the body.
Surface guidance
These are nylon bristles, not stainless. That makes the brush the milder choice and the one generally used on vinyl and fiberglass as well as plaster. On a vinyl liner, work gently and keep the metal back away from the surface. Save stainless bristles for plaster and gunite.
