Product details
The Ocean Blue 110016 is a 10 inch algae brush with stainless steel bristles set into an aluminum back. It fits any standard size telescopic pole.
Built for the stubborn spots
Stainless bristles are for algae that a nylon brush has already failed on: the dug in patches on walls, floor and steps that keep coming back after treatment. The aluminum back is there to hold the head rigid, so the pressure you put down the pole reaches the bristle tips rather than being lost in a flexing plastic body. At 10 inches the head is deliberately narrower than a general purpose wall brush, concentrating force into a smaller area.
Know your pool surface first
This is a hard surface tool. Stainless bristles suit plaster and gunite. They should not be used on a vinyl liner or a fiberglass shell, where they can score or tear the surface. If your pool is either of those, use a polypropylene or nylon bristle brush instead.
