Product details

The Ocean Blue 120020 is a heavy duty leaf skimmer for lifting leaves and floating debris off the surface of a pool. The head and handle are molded in extra strength plastic and carry a heavyweight mesh net, so it stands up to being used every day rather than a few times a season.

Built for repeat use

Light skimmers fail in two places, at the joint where the head meets the pole and along the seam where the net is held into the frame. This one uses a molded frame with a molded handle and a chemical resistant mesh, which is what keeps the shape and the net together after a season of leaves and pool chemicals.

Fitting and handling

It attaches to any standard size telescopic pole, so it works with the pole already on the deck. The head is finished with no sharp corners or edges, which matters when you are dragging it along tile, coping and the waterline to clear a corner.

Will this fit my pole?
Yes, if the pole is a standard size telescopic pool pole. The head is made to the common fitting rather than to one brand.
Is the pole included?
No. This is the skimmer head and net only, and it attaches to a telescopic pole you supply.
Is the mesh fine or coarse?
It is a heavyweight mesh built for leaves and surface debris. Very fine silt and dust are a job for the filter, not a surface net.
Will it damage tile or a liner?
The head is molded with no sharp corners or edges, so it can be run along the waterline without scoring the surface. Skim gently along a vinyl liner all the same.
