The CMP 25248-000-000 is a front access skimmer kit in white, with a 1-1/2 inch socket connection and a 1-1/2 inch FIP connection.

Front access

A front access skimmer is serviced through its face rather than through a lid in the deck. That is how spas and many above ground walls are built, and it keeps the basket and weir reachable where there is no deck to cut into.

Plumbing

Having one socket port and one FIP port means the kit takes glued pipe on one side and threaded fittings on the other, which covers most of what an installer runs into on a retrofit. Our internal records carry a second, conflicting size reading of 1-1/2 to 2 inch for this item, so measure your existing ports and confirm before cutting.

Before you order

Skimmer bodies are not a standard size across makers. Measure the wall opening and check the plumbing centers against the old unit rather than assuming a like for like swap.

What are the two connections?
