Product details

The Hayward SkimMaster SP1072T2 is the gunite skimmer with 2 inch FPT ports. It is set into the wall of a concrete pool and does the everyday work of pulling surface debris out before it sinks.

Built for concrete

The body is unibody construction, molded as one piece so there are no seams to fail once it is packed in gunite. A 3/4 inch knockout is provided for a fill or overflow port, and the cover collar gives 1.5 inches of vertical adjustment so the skimmer can be brought level with the finished deck. Where more range is needed, an extension collar adds 2.5 inches and a stackable notched collar allows infinite adjustment.

Skimming and flow

The 8 inch weir is self adjusting, held by a stainless steel spring so it keeps working as the water level moves. Behind it sits a large debris basket and an integral Flo-Control slide plate. A float valve is available for pools plumbed as a thru skimmer suction outlet system.
