Product details

The Pentair Bermuda skimmer, part 506361, is the white ABS wall skimmer with a 2 inch slip port. It is the version specified for concrete and gunite pools and spas.

The port matters

A slip port means the suction pipe goes into the socket and is solvent welded. If your line ends in a male thread or you plan to thread in a fitting, you want the threaded port version of the 2 inch Bermuda instead, which carries its own part number. Getting this wrong is the most common ordering mistake on a skimmer swap, so look at the plumbing first.

Body and finish

The body is molded ABS in white. ABS is what holds up when a skimmer is set into a gunite wall and encased, and white keeps the visible parts consistent with standard lids and rings.

Match the pool construction

Bermuda skimmers are sold in bodies suited to different pool constructions. This one is the concrete and gunite listing. If your pool is vinyl lined or fiberglass, check the Bermuda skimmers built for those walls rather than fitting this body.
