Product details

The Pentair Bermuda 506300 is a PVC wall skimmer for concrete and gunite pools and spas, supplied in white with a 2 in. slip port.

Built for concrete work

A gunite skimmer has a harder life than a liner skimmer. It is set in place before the shell is shot, packed in concrete, and then expected to stay square and watertight for the life of the pool. That is why the Bermuda is molded in PVC and built around a body meant to be cast in rather than bolted to a wall.

Plumbing

The connection is a 2 in. slip socket, so 2 in. PVC glues straight into it. Plan the suction run and the equalizer before the shell goes on, because nothing about this connection is convenient to revisit once the deck is poured.

Finishing at the deck

Deck extension collars are separate Pentair parts and come in white, tan and black, so the visible ring at deck level can be matched to the finish rather than left as a mismatch. Order the collar with the skimmer if the deck height calls for one.
