The Waterway Renegade 540-6411 is a gunite in-ground skimmer supplied with a round lid, plumbed 2 inch socket by 2.5 inch spigot, and finished in black.

Where it goes

This is the gunite version of the Renegade skimmer, meant to be set into a concrete pool wall during construction or during a renovation when the old skimmer is cut out. It is the complete skimmer, not a repair part for one already installed.

Check the plumbing first

The ports are a 2 inch socket and a 2.5 inch spigot. Confirm both against the lines you are connecting before the skimmer goes in, because a skimmer set in concrete is not something you want to adjust afterwards.

Parts that follow it

Waterway lists Renegade collars, weirs and lids as separate items. The pieces that see sun, chemicals and foot traffic are the ones that wear, and they can be replaced on their own years later.
