The Swimline HydroTools 8240 is a 10 in. floor and wall algae brush with four rows of stainless steel bristles, made for concrete pools.

What it does

The brush head is approximately 10 in. wide and carries four rows of tough stainless steel bristles for scrubbing algae off pool floors and walls. It attaches to any standard telescopic pool pole, so it works with a handle already on hand.

Before you order

This brush is specifically designed for use on concrete pools. A vinyl or fiberglass pool surface is softer and calls for a nylon bristle brush instead of stainless steel, since a stiff metal bristle is meant for a harder plaster or concrete finish.
