Product details

The CompuPool JD363130E is the replacement salt cell electrode for the CPSC48. It uses 10 titanium blades to produce 2.5 pounds of chlorine a day for pools up to 60,000 gallons.

What the electrode does

The blades are where the chlorine is actually made. As they age the cell produces less, and the pool starts asking for more help from bagged chlorine. Fitting a fresh electrode brings the output back to what the system was designed to deliver, with the salinity set and held at the power center.

Keeping it working

Scale builds on the blades over time. Periodic cleaning with a simple mixture of water and muriatic acid clears it. The CPSC range uses waterproof connectors, so swapping a cell is not a wiring job.

The system around it

CPSC systems run at a default salt setting of 3500 parts per million, which can be adjusted, and they carry a no-flow sensor, high and low salt fault lights, a water temperature sensor for a more accurate salt reading, and a winter mode for colder water.
