Quick overview

Genuine Coverstar The factory C5130 Powerflex rope, not a substitute cord.
130 foot length Supplied as a single 130 foot run.
Semi-rigid tab The rope comes with the semi-rigid tab fitted, ready to install.
Powerflex construction The Coverstar Powerflex rope used on their automatic cover systems.
A wear item Cover ropes take the pull every open and close, and a frayed rope is a cover that will stop mid travel.
Change it before it snaps Replacing a worn rope on your own schedule beats doing it with the cover stuck half open.

Product details

The Coverstar C5130 is the Powerflex rope with a semi-rigid tab, supplied in a 130 foot length. It is the genuine Coverstar part for their automatic pool cover systems.

What the rope does

On an automatic cover, the rope is what actually pulls the cover across the pool and back. It runs through the tracks on every cycle, so it carries the load and the wear for the whole system. When it frays or stiffens, the cover starts to bind or stops partway.

The semi-rigid tab

The tab comes fitted to the rope, which is the end that connects into the cover system. Buying the rope with the tab already on it saves fabricating the connection on site.
