Natural Chemistry Filter Perfect is a concentrated deep cleaning solution for pool and spa filters, supplied in a 1 L bottle. It removes the set in oils, grease and scum that build up on cartridge elements, DE filter grids and sand.
What a rinse leaves behind
Hosing a cartridge takes off the visible dirt. What stays is the greasy film from body oils, lotions and sunscreen, which soaks into the media and restricts flow no matter how clean the element looks. Filter Perfect goes after that layer, which is why elements come out of a soak passing water properly again rather than just looking better.
SMARTZyme technology
The product works through enzymes. They bind to organic contaminants and break them down into progressively smaller parts, ending at carbon dioxide and water. Because the enzymes keep working rather than being consumed on contact, a small amount treats a large volume, which is what makes the concentrate go so far.
How it is used
Cartridges and DE grids are hosed off, then soaked in a bucket with the bottle mixed into 5 to 10 gallons of water for at least 6 hours, and rinsed. Sand filters are dosed through the skimmer with the filter in backwash, then left to stand for 6 hours before backwashing until the water runs clear. Either way the result is better filter efficiency and a longer run before the next clean.
