Product details
A large block of natural pumice for cleaning the waterline. It is the tool for the chalky calcium band, rust marks and stubborn staining that build on ceramic tile and on concrete pool surfaces, and it works by abrasion alone.
No effect on the water
Because the block is chemically neutral, nothing dissolves off it into the pool and the pH balance is left alone. That makes it a straightforward job to do with the water in place, unlike acid cleaning, and it often lifts deposit that strong acid cleaners have not shifted.
Where to use it, and where not to
Use it on ceramic tile and on molded or pneumatically formed concrete. Keep it off vinyl liners, fiberglass shells and painted surfaces, because pumice is hard enough to scratch them. Keep the block and the surface wet while you work, and rinse the loose grit away as you go.
