Product details

The Hayward SP1419T is the tool for the collar that threads into the pool wall behind a return jet. It drops into the two grooves cast into the seat and gives you the purchase to unscrew it.

Why a dedicated tool

The seat sits flush in the wall with nothing to grab. Pliers and screwdrivers slip, and a collar that gets chewed up is far more work to deal with than the jet you set out to replace. The SP1419T engages the grooves the fitting was designed around, so the collar turns instead of the tool.

When you will want it

Any time return jets are being replaced or a seat has to come out of the wall. It is a small tool that spends most of the year in the shed and earns its place the day the jets are due.
