Raypak 017045F is the replacement burner for Raypak swimming pool heaters in the 207A to 407A range. It is the genuine Raypak part.
What the burner does
The burners sit in a tray under the heat exchanger and each one carries a strip of flame across the tubes above it. Everything about a heater burning cleanly starts here: the shape of the burner sets how gas and air mix, and how evenly the heat lands on the exchanger. Once a burner rusts through or cracks, the flame lifts or rolls out of shape, the heater sounds different, and soot starts to build where it never used to.
