The Raypak 156A is a 150,000 BTU natural gas heater for above ground pools, inground pools and spas. It uses electronic ignition and a digital control panel, and this version is rated for installations between sea level and 4999 ft.

Output that shortens the wait

At 150,000 BTU the 156A heats faster than the smaller units usually sold for above ground pools, which is what lets you open the pool earlier in spring and keep swimming later into fall. It has the capacity for larger above ground pools and many inground pools and spas.

Simple to run

There is no standing pilot. When the heater calls for heat the electronic ignition lights the burner, and the digital controls hold the water at the temperature you set.

Before you order

Confirm you have natural gas service, not propane, and that the installation is at or below 4999 ft. This heater ships by freight.
