The Raypak Crosswind V is a 138,000 BTU pool heat pump on 208-230V power, with a titanium heat exchanger and digital controls. The cabinet is smaller and lighter than earlier designs, so it fits on a standard equipment pad and is easier to set in place.
Built for service
The 2 in. water connections are industry standard and are reached through the front panel, which keeps plumbing and servicing simple. The capacitive touch control panel gives easy to read diagnostics and real time status, so you know what the unit is doing without opening it up.
Running cost
As a heat pump it is energy efficient compared with fuel fired heating, which shows up on the monthly bill over a season.
