The Raypak 016635 is the R3450Ti-E, a Compact Series digital pool and spa heat pump rated at 62,000 BTU on 240V, built with a titanium heat exchanger.
Construction
The cabinet is DuraSteel powder-coated steel with a fully louvered jacket over the coil, set on a rust proof composite base. A three blade swept wing fan moves air over the coil, and a scroll compressor does the work. The heat exchanger is a spiral titanium tube, a waterway that stands up to pool chemistry and is shaped to reduce deposit build-up.
Controls
The digital controls hold separate target temperatures for the pool and for the spa. The unit works with most two-wire and three-wire remote systems and shows Remote on the display when a third party system has control. On board diagnostics give the homeowner a fault indication and the service technician detailed diagnostic information.
