The Raypak Crosswind V Deluxe is a 115,000 BTU heat and chill pool heat pump on 208-230V, built with a titanium heat exchanger and digital controls.
Both directions
A heat and chill unit does more than extend the swimming season at the cold end. In a hot climate a pool can climb past comfortable in midsummer, and the chill function brings it back down. That is what separates this model from a heat only heat pump.
Built for the pad
Raypak designed the Crosswind V to be lighter with a smaller footprint than the units it replaces, so it goes onto a standard equipment pad without special provision. The water connections are the usual 2 inch, and they come through the front panel, which keeps both installation and later service within reach.
Controls and materials
The control face is capacitive touch, with legible diagnostics and real time status so you can see what the unit is doing without guesswork. Inside, the heat exchanger is titanium, the material that copes best with sanitizer and pool water chemistry over the long run.
