Raypak Crosswind V Deluxe Heat and Chill, 137,000 BTU with Titanium Heat Exchanger and Digital Controls

The Raypak Crosswind V Deluxe is a 137,000 BTU heat and chill pool heat pump, running on 208-230V with a titanium heat exchanger and digital touch controls. It heats the pool when the weather is cool and reverses to cool it when the water gets too warm to be refreshing, so one machine covers both ends of the season.

Controls and connectivity

The front panel is a capacitive touch display with easy to read diagnostics and real time status notifications. Wi-Fi is built in, and the controller can run automation for up to 6 devices, so it can serve as more than a heater controller on a simple pad.

Designed for the pad

Raypak made the Crosswind V smaller and lighter than the typical heat pump so it fits a standard equipment pad. The 2 in. water connections are accessible through the front panel, which keeps the plumbing tie in and later service straightforward. It also draws less energy for the heat it delivers, which shows up on the monthly bill.
