The H-Series idea

Hayward designed the Universal H-Series around energy efficient, high performance operation and adaptable installation, with the pool service professional in mind. The result is a heater meant to fit a wide range of equipment pads rather than one ideal layout.

Sizing

At 150,000 BTU this is the smallest output in the range, which suits spas and smaller pools. Heater sizing depends on the surface area of the body of water, the climate and how quickly you want to reach temperature, so confirm the output against your own pool before ordering.

Installation and delivery

Gas heaters need a correctly sized gas line, proper venting and a licensed installer. The heater ships by freight, so plan for a curbside delivery.
