Raypak P-R266A-MN-C #50 Natural Gas Heater, 266K BTU, Millivolt Plus, Polymer Headers, Copper Exchanger

The Raypak 009193 is the P-R266A-MN-C #50, a 266,000 BTU atmospheric natural gas pool heater from Raypak's R206A to R406A family. It uses Millivolt Plus ignition, a copper heat exchanger and polymer headers.

Millivolt operation

Millivolt ignition generates its own control voltage, so this heater does not need a line voltage electrical connection at the pad. That makes it a straightforward replacement where an older millivolt heater is being retired and no electrical service was ever run to the heater location.

Exchanger and headers

The copper tube heat exchanger moves heat quickly into the water, and the polymer headers on each end do not corrode the way metal headers can in aggressive pool chemistry.
