⌄The Coates 34836PHS-3 is a 36 kW electric pool heater from the PHS series, built for 480 V three phase service. Electric heat means no gas line, no combustion and no flue; the heater sits on the pad and draws from the panel.
Digital control
The 36 to 57 kW heaters in the PHS line carry the same features as the smaller 12 to 18 kW models and add a digital thermostat, which holds pool water temperature more precisely than a dial setting.
Before you order
Confirm your electrical service is 480 V, three phase, and that the panel has capacity for a 36 kW load. Installation is a job for a licensed electrician. The heater ships by freight, so plan for a delivery that needs someone present to receive it.
