This is the Coates electric pool and spa heater rated at 57kW, built for a 480 volt three phase supply. It heats water with electric resistance elements instead of a gas burner.
Where electric makes sense
Electric heat removes the whole gas side of a heater installation. There is no gas line to run, no flue to route and no combustion air to supply, which matters on indoor rooms, rooftop equipment areas and any site with no gas service. In exchange, the electrical demand is real: 57kW on three phase power needs a service sized for it, so the panel, breaker and conductors should be confirmed by an electrician before the heater arrives.
