The Raypak AVIA P-R404A-EP-N is a 399,000 BTU propane gas pool and spa heater with low NOx emissions, built-in WiFi and Raypak's NiTek heat exchanger. It is the largest AVIA and the model to choose for a big pool or a pool and spa combination where the spa has to be hot quickly.

Built to last on the pad

The NiTek advanced heat exchanger uses HD NiTek tubing, and the ProTek Shield adds a further layer of protection for the exchanger. Together they are what Raypak points to for the AVIA's durability and long service life in pool and spa water.

Connected

WiFi is built in, so the heater joins your home network and can be monitored and adjusted from the Raypak app rather than at the pad.

Before you order

This is the propane model rated for 0 to 4,500 ft elevation; higher sites need the high altitude version, and natural gas sites need the NG model. Gas heaters must be installed by a qualified professional to local code, and this unit ships by freight on a pallet.

Is this the propane or natural gas AVIA?
This is the propane model, P-R404A-EP-N. Raypak makes a natural gas version under a different model number, so check your fuel supply before ordering.
What is the NiTek heat exchanger?
NiTek is Raypak's advanced heat exchanger built with HD NiTek tubing, designed for durability and long life in pool and spa water. Combined with the ProTek Shield it is the main reason the AVIA is expected to last.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. The AVIA has WiFi built in, so once it is on your network you can monitor and adjust it from the Raypak app.
