Product details
The Raypak P-R336A-EP-C is a 333,000 BTU propane gas heater for in-ground pools and spas, part of the Raypak Digital line. Electronic ignition and digital controls replace the standing pilot and mechanical thermostat of older heaters, so it lights on demand and holds the temperature you set.
Built for the outdoors
The cabinet is galvanized metal that resists corrosion, and the low profile design sits neatly on the equipment pad. Inside, a copper fin tube heat exchanger moves heat quickly into the water passing through it. Raypak builds these to run year round in the weather without a shelter.

This is the propane model, rated for installations between sea level and 2,000 ft. Make sure your gas supply, line sizing and elevation match. It ships freight on a pallet, and a licensed gas installer should handle the connection.

Is this the natural gas or propane model?
Propane. The P-R336A-EP-C is the LP gas version of the Raypak Digital 336A. Confirm your fuel supply before ordering, because natural gas heaters are a different part number.
What elevation is it rated for?
0 to 2,000 ft above sea level. Installations above 2,000 ft need a high altitude version.
Does it have a pilot light?
No. It uses digital electronic ignition, so there is no standing pilot to light or keep lit.
How does it ship?
By freight carrier on a pallet. Have someone available to receive it and inspect the cabinet for damage before signing.
