Product details

The Pentair MasterTemp 460736 is the 400 BTU natural gas pool heater in Low NOx form, rated in the 350,000 to 400,000 BTU band. It is the largest heater in the residential MasterTemp line.

Running it

The MasterTemp is meant to be as easy to live with as a home heating system. Digital temperature control sets the target, and the indicator lights on the panel make it obvious at a glance whether the heater is calling, firing or satisfied. Electronic ignition means there is no standing pilot to relight when the season starts.

Build

Heat moves through a copper heat exchanger, and the whole unit is built compact and quiet enough that it does not intrude on time at the pool. It is intended for inground residential pools and meets Low NOx emission requirements.

Before you order

This is the natural gas version. Confirm your gas supply and line sizing suit a 400 BTU appliance, and note that the heater ships by freight.
