The Raypak P-R206A-EN-X is a 200,000 BTU natural gas pool and spa heater with digital ignition and a cupro-nickel fin tube heat exchanger, built for installations between sea level and 2000 ft. It is the model to pick when you want a Raypak 206A that will tolerate imperfect water chemistry rather than the plain copper version.
Built for the weather
The cabinet is galvanized and corrosion resistant, in a low profile design that keeps the heater compact on the pad. Raypak uses advanced engineered materials throughout for durability, and the whole package is meant to sit outdoors for years without complaint.
Controls
Digital intermittent ignition lights the burner on demand, so there is no standing pilot to blow out or waste gas. The digital control makes the heater simple to set and easy to keep running.

Is this for natural gas or propane?
Natural gas. If your site runs on propane you need the propane version of the 206A, not this one.
What elevation is it built for?
0 to 2000 ft above sea level. Sites above that need the high altitude version, which is set up for thinner air.
Why cupro-nickel instead of copper?
Cupro-nickel is a copper nickel alloy that resists the erosion and corrosion that low pH, high flow and hard use inflict on a plain copper exchanger. It is the exchanger to choose if water chemistry has ever been a problem.
How does it ship?
By freight on a pallet. Have someone there to inspect the carton and sign, and note any damage on the bill of lading before the driver leaves.
