The Raypak Digital 266 is a 266,000 BTU propane gas heater for inground pools and spas. This is model P-R266A-EP-C, Raypak part 009225: the propane version with digital electronic ignition and a copper fin tube heat exchanger, built for installations from sea level to 2,000 ft.

Built for the outdoors

The cabinet is corrosion resistant galvanized metal in a low profile that sits neatly on the equipment pad. Raypak designs it to shrug off weather and run year round, so a spa in January is as practical as a pool in June.

Efficient and simple to live with

Electronic ignition means there is no standing pilot to keep lit. The copper heat exchanger moves heat into the water quickly, and the digital control handles the burner so the heater does its job with no attention beyond setting the temperature.

Before you order

Confirm you have propane, not natural gas, and that the site is at or below 2,000 ft. The heater ships by freight; plan to have someone on hand to receive it.
