Coates Electric Pool and Spa Heater 24kW 208V Three Phase, 32024CPH

The Coates 32024CPH is a 24 kilowatt electric pool and spa heater rated for 208 volt service at 67 amps. It heats with resistance elements, so there is no gas line, no flue and no combustion air to plan for.

Where an electric heater makes sense

Electric heating is the practical answer on sites where gas is not available, where a vent cannot be routed, or where local rules make a combustion appliance awkward. The trade off is the electrical service: 24kW at 208 volts pulls 67 amps, and that has to come from a panel and feeder sized for it. Confirm the supply with an electrician before you commit to the heater.

Before you order

The manufacturer does not list this model as salt compatible, so it is not the right choice behind a salt chlorine generator. The product name lists this unit as 208V three phase while one source table lists single phase, so match the phase on the data plate of the heater you are replacing before ordering.
