The Raypak 006533F is the genuine OEM transformer for the Hi-Delta series pool heater, listed for models P926 through P1826. It is rated 120/24 V at 50 VA.
What it does
Everything in the heater that thinks runs on 24 volts: the ignition control, the thermostats, the high limits and the water pressure switch. The transformer is what turns incoming line voltage into that 24 volt supply. When it opens up, the heater looks completely dead at the control panel even though power is still arriving at the cabinet.
