Product details

The Raypak 006723F is the 2 in. PVC connector and nut for Raypak gas pool heaters, supplied as a set of two. It is the genuine Raypak part.

What it does

The connector makes the 2 in. connection between the pool plumbing and the heat exchanger. Raypak sells them in pairs because a heater has an inlet and an outlet, so a set does both ends of the exchanger.

Which heaters

Raypak lists this connector for the R185A, R265A, R335A and R405A digital pool heaters. Check the model on the rating plate before ordering, as Raypak uses different connections across its other ranges.

When to replace

PVC connectors crack with age, freeze damage and over tightening, and a stripped nut will never pull the joint up square again. Because the parts come as a pair it is worth changing both rather than leaving one original connector in a heater that is already apart.
