Raypak Genuine OEM Thermal Cut-Off Fuse

The Raypak 005899F is the thermal cut-off fuse used across a wide run of Raypak gas pool heaters. It is the genuine Raypak part.

Which heaters

RP2100 models R185, R265, R335 and R405 built from November 1993 through October 1998; the RP2100 Digital R185A, R265A, R335A and R405A, and the B versions of the same; the 206A, 266A, 336A and 406A digital atmospheric heaters; Versa 105A, 155A, 155B and 155C; and the Model 130A millivolt and DSI heaters built from October 2005 onward.

What it does

A thermal cut-off is a safety device. If the heater runs too hot, the fuse opens and the heater shuts down. It does not reset, so once it has opened it has to be replaced. Because it only opens when something else has gone wrong, fit the new fuse and then find the cause of the overheating, otherwise the replacement will open as well.
