Raypak 006713F is the heat exchanger O-ring gasket for model 206A, 266A and 336A Low NOx pool heaters, supplied two per pack.
What it seals
The O-ring sits at the heat exchanger, on the water side of the heater. It is a small part in a hot, pressurized location, which is exactly why it is the piece that gives up first. Water weeping from the exchanger area is usually a compressed or hardened gasket rather than anything structural.
When to fit new ones
Any time the exchanger is opened, put new gaskets back in. A used O-ring has taken a set from being clamped and heat cycled, and reusing one to save a few dollars often means taking the heater apart a second time. The two per pack quantity matches the way the job is normally done.
