Raypak 006721F is the genuine Capron drain plug for the heat exchanger header on RP2100 series pool heaters, models R185A, R265A, R335A and R405A. It is the piece that seals the drain point when the heater is not being winterized.
What the factory sheet lists
Raypak documents this number as a drain plug kit for the RP2100 plastic header used on the 185 through 405 series, containing one 800404 grey plastic drain plug with a 1/4 inch MPT thread, one 500834 brass drain valve also in 1/4 inch MPT, and one 800365 o-ring for the grey plug. The product listing itself describes a single Capron drain plug, so the two readings differ. Confirm with us which you need if the difference matters to your repair.
Grey plug or brass valve
The grey plug is the replacement for the original black plug, part 800361, which is obsolete. If the piece you are pulling out is the old black plug, Raypak says to use the brass drain valve. If you are replacing the more current grey plug, use just the grey plug.

My old plug is black. What do I use?
