What makes it the top of the line
The cover is 14 mil with a commercial grade 14 x 14 scrim count and the heaviest coating in the line. Scrim is the reinforcing weave under the coating, and it is what decides whether a cover survives a winter of wind or tears along a fold. The edges are bound with commercial grade material and thread, which is the seam that gives out first on lighter covers.
Solid versus mesh
A solid cover blocks light and keeps every leaf, every bit of grit and all the rain out of the pool. The water underneath stays clean and algae has nothing to work with. The trade is that rain and melt collect on top, so a cover pump belongs on the surface through the season.
Before you close
The 23 by 41 foot size gives you the overlap to weight the cover all the way around the deck. Water tubes are not included and are ordered separately.
