Product details

This is the PoolTux Ultra Premium solid winter cover for 15 by 30 foot oval above ground pools, backed by a 25 year manufacturer warranty. The cover measures 19 by 34 oval, which puts 4 feet of overlap around the pool.

How it is built

The material is 14 MIL with a commercial grade 14 by 14 scrim count and the heaviest coating in its class. Edges are bound in commercial grade material and thread, the hem is double stitched with a polypropylene cord sewn inside, and two non rusting aluminum grommets sit every 3 feet along it.

Sun on top, dark underneath

UV inhibitors in the top surface are what keep a cover from going brittle after a few seasons outdoors. The black underside does the other half of the job by blocking light, so algae has nothing to work with and the water opens clearer in the spring.

Locking it down

A vinyl coated steel lock down cable and a non rusting deluxe aluminum cable winch are included, so the cover cinches tight to the pool wall without extra hardware to buy.
