Product details

The PoolTux WC504 Leaf Guard is a leaf net for an 18 foot round above ground pool. It goes on over the winter cover and catches debris before the cover ever sees it.

How it works

The net is lightweight but strong, and it attaches to the winter cover through the cover grommets. Leaves and other corrosive material land on the net and stay there. When it is time to clear them, you pull the net and the whole load comes off with it instead of being skimmed away a handful at a time.

Why it pays for itself

Leaves that sit on a winter cover all season get wet, get heavy and break down into a stain. That weight is what drags covers down into the water. Keeping the debris off extends the life of the cover underneath, which is the more expensive item of the two.

Does this replace my winter cover?
No. A leaf net goes over the winter cover, not instead of it. Its job is to catch debris before it reaches the cover.
Which pool does it fit?
An 18 foot round above ground pool. Match the net to the pool size, not to the cover size.
