The CaliMar CMARCFS12-1Y is an aftermarket replacement salt cell for the Zodiac Nature2 Fusion Soft 700 system, model R0502800, rated for pools up to 12,000 gallons.
How it is built
The cell uses titanium plate with a 1.0mm platinum coating, made as a solid plate cathode and anode. That is the working surface where salt is converted to chlorine, and it is the part that wears out over years of service. When a salt system runs but the pool will not hold a residual, and the water chemistry and salt level check out, the electrode is usually the answer.
