The CompuPool JD363130C is the replacement salt cell electrode for the CPSC24 chlorinator. It is the 5 blade electrode rated for pools up to 26,000 gallons, supplied on its own without the blue housing.
Electrode only, and why that saves money
A salt cell is two parts: the housing that plumbs into the return line, and the electrode inside it that does the work. Housings usually outlast electrodes. If yours is intact, replacing just the electrode costs less than a complete cell. If the housing is cracked, distorted or scaled past cleaning, order the full CPSC24 cell instead.
When to replace
Electrode blades carry a coating that is consumed as the cell generates chlorine. When output falls off while salt level and run time are correct, and cleaning the blades makes no difference, the electrode is at the end of its life. Swapping it restores output. The CPSC24 runs a default salt setting of 3500 ppm, which can be adjusted, and its waterproof connectors make the change a quick job at the pad.
