Product details

The CompuPool JD363130A is the replacement salt cell electrode for the CPSC08 chlorination system. It uses two titanium blades and produces close to half a pound of chlorine a day, which suits spas and small residential pools up to 5,000 gallons.

What is and is not included

This listing is the electrode. The unit housing, the unions and the o-rings stay with your system and are not supplied here. It is also worth putting a new cord on at the same time, since a cord that has aged alongside the old element is the next thing to fail.

Getting the most out of it

Salt cells scale over time as calcium plates onto the blades, and output drops. A periodic clean in a simple mixture of water and muriatic acid clears that and keeps the cell working. Once a properly cleaned element no longer holds its output, it has reached the end of its life and the electrode is the part to change.

Will this fit any CompuPool chlorinator?
No. It is the electrode for the CPSC08 system only. Check the model on the power center before ordering.

Can I clean the electrode instead of replacing it?
