Product details

The PoolTux BT3050R is an Emperor solid winter cover for a 30'x50' rectangle inground pool. The cover itself measures 35'x55', which leaves 5 feet of overlap on the deck all the way round.

The material

It is built from 8 mil black on tan triple laminated polyethylene with heat sealed seams. The edge carries a sewn in polypropylene cord for reinforcement, which is the part of a winter cover that takes the most strain once it is loaded with water through the winter.

Holding it down

2 in by 12 in water tube loops run along the edge every four feet, and aluminum grommets are located in each corner. Water tubes themselves are ordered separately.

Warranty

The cover is backed by the PoolTux Emperor 20 year warranty. Order this cover by the size of the pool it closes, not by the cover's own cut dimensions, since the 35'x55' figure already accounts for the 5 ft overlap.
