Product details

The PoolTux BT1836R is an Emperor solid winter cover for an 18'x36' rectangle inground pool. The cover itself measures 23'x41', which leaves 5 feet of overlap on the deck all the way round for water tubes to sit on.

The material

It is built from 8 mil black on tan triple laminated polyethylene with heat sealed seams. The edge carries a sewn in polypropylene reinforcement, which is where the strain concentrates once the cover is loaded with water and pulled at from every side through the winter.

Holding it down

2 in by 12 in water tube loops run along the edge every four feet, and aluminum grommets are located in each corner. Water tubes themselves are ordered separately.

Warranty

PoolTux rates the Emperor at 20 years limited, with 3 years full. Order this cover by the size of the pool it closes, not by the cover's own cut dimensions, since the 23'x41' figure already accounts for the 5 ft overlap.
