The Century BN25V1 is a 1 horsepower up rated pool pump motor, 115 volt, 48Y frame, single speed at 3450 RPM with a 1.0 service factor and a 12 amp draw. It carries the number that replaced the older BN25SS.
The workhorse of above ground pumps
A great many above ground pool and spa pumps are built around this motor. It appears in the parts lists for Hayward Power-Flo LX, Power-Flo II and III and SP-1500 series pumps, the Pentair Dynamo, the Sta-Rite JWPA, and the Waterway Executive, Workman, Hi-Flo and Supreme 48 frame pumps.
Construction
All copper windings, an automatic thermal protector, an open drip proof enclosure and a stainless steel threaded shaft with a thrubolt pump mount, built to the 1081 design at 60 Hz.
Before you order
Check three things on the old motor: the frame is 48Y, the voltage is 115, and the rating is up rated at 1.0 service factor. If any of those differ, the replacement is a different part number.
