Century 1.65 HP Square Flange Pool and Spa Pump Motor, 3450 RPM 48Y, Threaded Shaft

The Century Centurion Pro HSQ165 is a single speed replacement motor for square flange pool and spa pumps. It is rated 1.65 total horsepower at 3450 RPM with a 1.0 service factor, on a 48Y frame with a threaded 303 stainless steel shaft.

Electrical

The motor is single phase, 60 Hz, and runs on either 115 V or 230 V through an on board voltage change device, drawing 18.8 A or 9.4 A. It is a capacitor start, induction run design with automatic thermal protection, class F insulation and an open drip proof enclosure rated for 50 degree C ambient. UL 1081 design, UL recognized and CSA listed.

Built for the pump end

Sealed 203 bearings at both ends, with triple seal protection on the pump end bearing where water is most likely to reach. The terminal board and wiring compartment are open and accessible, and the shaft has a 7/16 in. wrench flat so you can hold it while threading the impeller on or off. Overall length is 14.12 in.

California buyers

The HSQ165 is not California Title 20 compliant and cannot be shipped to California. Century makes CEC compliant V-Green EVO variable speed motors, including the square flange EVQ130, EVQ165 and EVQ225, for that market.
