The Century USQ1102 is a single speed 1 HP up-rated pool pump motor with a square flange mounting, wired for either 115 or 230 volts. It runs at 3450 RPM on a 48Y frame with a 1.25 service factor.
Built for wet, hot equipment pads
The shaft is 303 stainless steel with a 1/2 inch thread, sized at 0.625 inch diameter with a 0.906 inch extension. Both ends run on sealed ball bearings, the enclosure is open dripproof, and thermal protection is automatic. The motor is rated for a 50 degree Celsius ambient and continuous duty, with class B insulation and capacitor start across the line.
What it replaces
Century lists the USQ1102 for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas, Max-E-Glas II, Dura-Glas, Dura-Glas II, Dyna-Glas and Dyna-Max pumps, for the Pentair Whisperflo and Pinnacle, and for the Anthony AR2 series. Before ordering, check the frame, flange type, horsepower, service factor and shaft against the motor coming off the pump, because a square flange 48Y is only interchangeable with another square flange 48Y.
