The Century HSQ220 is a Centurion Pro square flange motor for pool and spa pumps, rated 2.2 THP at 3450 RPM on 230 V. It uses the 48Y frame with a threaded shaft.

Matching it to your pump

Three things have to line up before a replacement motor fits: the frame, the mounting and the shaft. This one is a 48Y square flange motor, which bolts directly to a square flange pump housing rather than through a C face bracket, and it takes a threaded impeller. Read the label on the motor you are pulling off and compare all three.

Single speed operation
